Activities of the regional Council
In 2022, the Council joined The Amurskaya Pravda’s campaign in memory of the lone ice artist Valery Melnikov. The volunteers offered local residents their New Year wishes by creating a giant postcard on the ice of Lake Peschanka. This campaign that is the brainchild of activists from the Locomotive Depot TChE-11 Belogorsk has brought together more than 50 people from Belogorsk, Blagoveshchensk, Moscow, Svobodny, and Tsiolkovsky.
Council members are active participants of the country-wide #MyBusinessHelps campaign organized by the My Business regional center with the support of the Russian Federation Economic Development Ministry. In the runup to the International Children's Day, participating volunteers collected gifts for little patients. The campaign was supported by Amur GPP, Otkritie Bank, Bureyskaya HPP, Gazprom Pererabotka Blagoveshchensk, Locomotive Depot TChE-11 Belogorsk, and Vostochny Space Center.
Every month, Blagoveshchensk and Svobodny carry out city-wide campaigns to collect recyclable waste. The list of organizers includes Blagoveshchensk branch of the All-Russian environmental RazDelniy Sbor movement, Amur GPP in cooperation with the Teknimont company. All those wishing to participate in collecting recyclable materials, as well as volunteers who are ready to help with carrying out upcoming campaigns are invited to consult the campaign’s webpage at: https://t.me/rsbor_blg.
