Check online what types of volunteers your city needs, which organizations are recruiting volunteers, and what kinds of requirements they have for them.

Think about what you personally want and can help others with, how much time and how often you are willing to commit to volunteering, and whether you require any support from SIBUR.

You can become a member of a team of volunteers with an existing charitable foundation or build your own team made up of your colleagues, friends, relatives, and neighbors.

SIBUR has been advocating a systemic approach to volunteering which is really helpful when you need to turn things around. As a case in point, orphanage leavers are in greater need of career guidance than they are of New Year’s gifts.

If you happen to volunteer at a charitable foundation, be sure to coordinate your efforts with the foundation's team. If you are helping the wards of an institution, you need to follow the latter’s internal rules and code of conduct. Do not discuss what you see there with the institution’s management, instead, if you notice a problem, be sure to let us know by phoning or emailing us at volonter@formula-hd.ru.
