Employees of SIBUR's Tobolsk plant took part in the Back to School Soon corporate campaign

In the run-up to September 1, employees of ZapSibNeftekhim LLC staged their annual Back to School Soon campaign. This year, they provided assistance to children from large and low-income families living in Tobolsk and Tobolsk District who are under care of Tobolsk's Comprehensive Social Service Center, as well as to children with disabilities aged 6 to 16. For many of these children the coming school year is a special one as they are going to become first graders.

ZapSibNeftekhim has been actively involved in the corporate Back to School Soon campaign for a number of years now. Its employees have been taking an active part in collecting gifts, and in some cases, entire departments and production units got engaged in the process. A total of 73 people took part in the campaign.

Thanks to our colleagues' involvement and caring attitude, we have managed to help more than 60 students from large and low-income families in Tobolsk get ready for the new school year. Through our joint, efforts we livened up the day for the children who especially needed this, Darya Cherepanova, the campaign's supervisor at the plant and an expert with ZapSibNeftekhim's Department of Government Relations and Socioeconomic Projects, noted.

Throughout the campaign, we were able to collect 65 sets of school supplies, including notebooks, homework diaries, pencil cases, art supply kits, and much more. All these items should serve as aids helping schoolchildren on their way to acquiring new knowledge.

SIBUR has been helping our organization to get children from low-income families in Tobolsk and Tobolsk District ready for school for years. The children are getting new backpacks, bright and cheery-looking school supplies. We would like to express our gratitude to everyone involved: employees, volunteers, and the management, Alexandra Karimova, Director of Tobolsk District's Comprehensive Social Services Center, commented.

We would like to thank SIBUR for their kind wishes and for the gifts to our first-grader! Our boy is very happy and has already shared his impressions with his friends at the daycare center. He has already passed on his emotions to the other children around him, Zulfiya Vasilenko, the mother of Nikolay Vasilenko, a future first-grader, shared.
