SIBUR's volunteers helped the Nekrasovka animal shelter get ready for winter

On November 18, SIBUR's corporate volunteers paid a visit to Nekrasovka, a municipal shelter for stray animals located in Moscow. The visit brought together 12 participants, including two minors.

The visitors helped install insulation in 12 of the shelter’s pens, did some minor assembly work and coated a shed with protective varnish. They also engaged with the animals, of course. The visitors took 30 of the shelter's animals for a walk and brought with them a lot of presents and treats for the cats and dogs inhabiting the shelter. These included medicines, diapers, buckwheat, dry animal food, canned food, dog harnesses, and leashes.

Irina Linyucheva, a participant of the visit, a paperwork support expert:
“We spent the whole day with all these adorable dogs. Our visit program included some minor installation work, vigorous walks, and a wealth of warm and furry cuddles. Many thanks to the organizers for the opportunity to spend an enjoyable and rewarding time there!”

The visit concluded with a warming tea party for the corporate volunteers sharing fond memories of the day gone by.
