Under this project, multiple mini-workshops are being established in the regions of SIBUR’s presence to teach local residents how to recycle plastic waste and where they can learn how to make various household items from recycled materials, such as toys, kitchenware, or notepads.The first workshop was inaugurated in Tobolsk in December 2020, followed by a workshop in Dzerzhinsk in 2021, and the opening of two workshops in Nizhnevartovsk and Tomsk in February 2022, with two more beginning their work in the cities of Nizhnekamsk and Blagoveshchensk, Republic of Bashkortostan later in the fall.

Throughout 2021, as many as 40 containers were set up for collecting plastic caps to be later used at the workshops by school students as recycled feedstock for producing 500 pieces of kitchenware. Recycled plastics were used to build 4 park benches installed in Nizhnevartovsk, and to construct an art object put into place in Tomsk.

2022 saw 40 containers getting set up in Nizhnekamsk and Blagoveshchensk, Bashkortostan. The workshops hosted 20 master classes on separate waste collection and recycling that were attended by more than 300 people. The project helped produce more than 500 items including key chains, cups, and saucers. Five benches each made out of recycled plastics were installed on the grounds of Quantorium Bashkortostan-SIBUR and Children's Eco-Biological Center located in Nizhnekamsky municipal district of the Republic of Tatarstan.

In order to draw the attention of schoolchildren to environmental issues and foster a caring attitude to nature, the competition #Imakeacleancity was held. This competition had collected thousands of applications every year since the beginning.
