SIBUR’s volunteers in Moscow paid another visit to their furry friends at the dog shelter in Nekrasovka

Employees of SIBUR’s Corporate Center took part in a voluntary trip to an animal shelter in Nekrasovka. The trip supported by SIBUR's Formula for Good Deeds social investment program took place on July 1.
Thirteen SIBUR employees driven by a common desire to do good volunteered to walk the shelter’s 50 dogs while also taking beautiful photos of the animals to help them find new owners and treating the shelter's inhabitants to sausages, their favorite food. They also brought along dog food and other much needed items.
Many of the shelter’s inhabitants are large and very active dogs, so the volunteers had a chance to exert themselves and run with them, giving the animals good exercise. One of the highlights of the trip included one of our coworkers’ making acquaintance with one of the dogs with a view to its subsequent adoption.
Towards the end of the trip, all visitors were thanked for their caring attitude and involvement by being presented with branded T-shirts, bandanas, and stickers.

It's so wonderful that SIBUR’s volunteers found the time on their day off to visit the shelter and do some good deeds including taking the dogs for a walk and bringing them dog food. I was personally impressed by the shelter’s sheer scale. I hadn't realized it was so vast! I would want to see such visits to occur as frequently as possible, because the dogs really need it. I sincerely wish that every animal would be able to find a new home and loving owners.

Many thanks for organizing this trip. This was my first visit to the shelter. We took all the dogs out for a walk, spent our day off actively and productively, and also fed delicious sausages to the shelter’s inhabitants. I received a lot of positive emotions and made new acquaintances together with my co-workers.
