Building upon its best practices, experience and knowledge gained while running the Basketball School, SIBUR in 2023 expanded its involvement in the company's Formula for Good Deeds social investment program's sports activities segment by launching a Football School program for teenagers. The program is supervised by Dmitry Sychev, a famous Russian football player, with Alexander Shagov, Merited Coach of the Russian Federation and instructor at the Moscow-based Konstantin Beskov Academy of Coaching Excellence, acting as the head coach.

SIBUR's Football School

The Football School's 2023 geography included 10 cities: Kazan, Nizhnekamsk, Blagoveshchensk (Republic of Bashkortostan), Tomsk, Perm, Nizhnevartovsk, Tobolsk, Noyabrsk, Kstovo, and Svobodny. These cities hosted qualifying training sessions for boys and girls born in 2010 and 2011 with a focus on the development of young players' motor skills and fundamental technique-related and game tactics competencies. In July 2023, Nizhegorodskaya Oblast's More Sporta sports complex hosted the 7th SIBURCAMP camp attended by 176 teenagers and regional coaches to receive instruction in accordance with the curricula of the company's Basketball School, Football School, and Chess School. This marks the first time these three distinct training programs were implemented on the grounds of a single campground.

Ecoball for Football

SIBUR chose its Football School's regional qualifying phase held in May 2023 in Nizhnekamsk to unveil the first eco-friendly football for amateur competitions, that became known as the Ecoball Training football, developed in cooperation with Jögel, a Russian sports brand.

Each Ecoball Training football is produced with the use of recycled plastic materials: its lining surface is made out of material that the product of high-tech recycling of two half-liter plastic bottles.

The Ecoball Training football represents a new milestone in the development of children's and youths' amateur football. It has been featured at SIBUR's various social projects, at football schools and football academies.
