The audience took a keen interest in the genre of musicals, something quite new for many of them. The shows were presented by Mikhail Shvydkoy, Special Representative of the Russian President for International Cultural Cooperation and the theater’s artistic director, and by Yefim Shifrin, a stage and film actor.

As part of the tour’s educational program, director Marina Shvydkaya, the theater’s Art Director, Honored Artist of Russia, Associate Professor with the Boris Shchukin Theatre Institute, conducted a master class for the actors of the Open Youth Theater. Additionally, instructors from the Sintez House of Culture’s vocal studio had a chance to have a discussion with Tatyana Solnyshkina, the theater’s music director, with a focus on relevant topics of teaching singing.
