A Family Ecosystem: Supporting Young Parents Within University Walls
Implemented under SIBUR's "Formula for Good Deeds" program, the "Family Ecosystem" project is establishing Russia's first comprehensive support infrastructure for young parents pursuing higher education. Our goal is to remove barriers to education by providing student parents with dedicated space, essential knowledge, and a supportive community, making it a viable reality to balance family life, career, and studies.

How the Project Works: Three Key Focus Areas
We advance the project through several interconnected focus areas, creating a comprehensive ecosystem.
Baby Care Rooms
This is the heart of the project – specially equipped spaces on university campuses. These rooms feature dedicated areas for feeding, changing, play, and hosting workshops. Over two years, such rooms have opened at: Perm State National Research University , Tomsk Polytechnic University, Kazan State Power Engineering University, Nizhnekamsk Chemical Technology Institute
and Staff Support
For volunteers: 60 qualified tutors have been trained to assist in the
rooms – caring for children under three and running creative workshops for older children.
For parents: A special video course of 10 lectures has been launched, covering family
budgeting, child development, state benefits, and opportunities for young families. The course has
garnered over 2,450 views. The project portal also hosts useful methodological guides.
Tools and Game
To engage young people in the topic of conscious parenting, the unique card-based board game "Family Ecosystem" was developed, where players "build" their happy family. A total of 300 game sets were manufactured as part of the project.

The company pioneered the establishment of baby care rooms in Russian universities, directly improving the living conditions for student parents.
