SIBUR launches a call for volunteer projects for the first half of 2022

Moscow, October 25, 2021 – SIBUR has launched a call for applications for the 8th Employees’ Volunteering Projects’ Contest as part of its Formula for Good Deeds social investment program. The authors of the best projects will receive financial support to implement their charitable initiatives in the first half of 2022. The maximum amount of a grant per project is limited to RUB50,000.

Participation in the contest is open to all full-time employees of SIBUR Group, including the employees of the united company of SIBUR Holding PJSC and enterprises of the Republic of Tatarstan (Nizhnekamskneftekhim, Kazanorgsintez and TGK-16), subsidiaries and affiliates.

Eligible projects have to match the goals of one or several focus areas of SIBUR’s corporate volunteering program: urban improvement, public welfare and environment protection. The company continues to give priority to environmental projects, campaigns aimed at helping people with disabilities, and initiatives seeking to develop an inclusive environment in the regions where the company operates.

Due to the fact that the ongoing epidemiological situation remains fluid, contest participants are required to supplement their bids with a contingency plan allowing them to adjust their projects in the event stricter anti-COVID measures or additional restrictions are put in place. Contest applications will be accepted through November 21, 2021 on the electronic platform of the Formula for Good Deeds program at this link.

The contest’s results will be announced by the end of 2021.

The projects that end up getting support will be able to be launched starting on January 10, 2022.

SIBUR's contest of volunteering projects offers employees of the company an opportunity to suggest their own volunteering initiatives and receive a grant for implementing them.
