Let's offer children and the elderly the gift of a New Year celebration!

13 december 2021

SIBUR and its Formula for Good Deeds social investment program have announced the launch of their annual "Get to be a Santa Claus!" charitable campaign to help fulfill New Year wishes of people experiencing difficulties in their lives.

This year we invite employees of the company’s Corporate Center to support this campaign in two ways: help with fulfilling children's wishes and help set up a festive New Year’s Eve table for lonely senior citizens.

Anyone can get to be a Santa Claus! We invite our employees, partners, customers and all caring individuals to take part in the campaign!

Option 1 is to help fulfill children’s cherished dreams and wishes:

  • Check out what children's wishes are on the Formula for Good Deeds program’s website at https://www.formula-hd.ru/stan-dedom-morozom/
  • Pick a wish that you are willing to help fulfill.
  • Purchase a gift and put it in a festive bag/wrapping and inscribe the child's name and the institution's name on it in beautiful lettering.
  • Take your gift to Building 16/1, office 501.

Option 2 is to help organize the New Year's Party for the elderly:

  • Go to the campaign page at https://ng.starikam.org/sibur .
  • Choose a gift for the feast.
  • Enter your name, e-mail address, the amount you’re donating, and your bank card information.
  • Click on the "Donate" button.

All proceeds will be used to buy delicacies for the New Year's parties organized for beneficiaries of the “Joy of Old Age" Foundation in more than 30 of Russia’s regions residing in nursing homes, or living in villages and small towns, including those located where SIBUR has its operations: Voronezh, Kursk, Leningrad, Moscow, Nizhegorodskaya, Omsk and Tver Oblast.

The campaign will last until December 24.

For inquiries about participating in the campaign, please contact the campaign’s coordinator Varvara Melekestseva, ext. 55-82,

Choosing Life Charity is a charitable foundation established to help children with cancer and hematologic diseases undergoing treatment at the N.N. Blokhin Cancer Research Center in Moscow. The charity supports families whose children undergo long-term treatment while helping to equip the clinic's department with medical equipment and furniture and buying personal hygiene items and household chemicals. The team of the charity’s volunteers includes employees of SIBUR’s Corporate Center. In 2021, thanks to the company’s grant support the volunteers helped support locomotor therapy for young patients and collected and gifted them school supplies as part of the "Going Back to School" campaign. The Constanta Charitable Foundation was established in June 2011 in Tver. The main focus of its work is to provide comprehensive assistance to families in distress and to orphanage leavers. Its priority is to ensure that children get raised in a family, and, therefore, it is important to help parents overcome their difficulties in order to keep the family together and for children to have a happy childhood. Employees of the Corporate Center have been helping the foundation's charges as part of charitable "Going Back to School" and "Get to be a Santa Claus!" campaigns since 2020. The "Old Age is Joy" Charity was founded in November 2011 in Moscow as a continuation of a volunteer movement. At present, the foundation takes care of over 400 nursing homes in 50 regions of Russia, pays for services of around 150 additional care assistants and of over 30 leisure activities organizers for the frail senior citizens, while also paying for medicines, diapers and care products for the elderly residents of the sponsored nursing homes and hospitals. Over the recent years, the foundation has helped create patronage services providing home care for the elderly. Employees of the Corporate Center have been supporting their charges since 2019 by participating in volunteer visits. Further information about the foundation's activities is available at
