Young footballers from Perm receive places at SIBUR sports camp The qualifying stage of the "Football School" – a SIBUR sports project implemented as part of the "Formula for Good Deeds" social investment programme – took place in Perm. Based on the results of the competition, six of the strongest players (three boys and three girls) will receive the opportunity to travel to the SIBUR summer sports camp in Nizhny Novgorod Region. A professional coaching staff assessed the participants' physical condition, ball control technique, tactical thinking skills and team interaction. The expert panel included Alexander Shagov, Honoured Coach of Russia; Olga Shagova, physical fitness coach; Yulia Yushkevich, four-time Russian champion; Pavel Zhigulskikh, coach at the FC Dynamo Moscow academy; and Sergey Gorshkov, European Champion 2005 and goalkeeping coach. Elena Snezhko, Head of the "Formula for Good Deeds" social investment programme: "The goal of the project is to give talented young men and women the opportunity to realise their sporting potential. This is a unique chance to showcase their skills to honoured coaches, receive feedback and learn new approaches." The winners of the Perm selection will go to the #SIBURCAMP sports camp in Nizhny Novgorod Region, where they will take part in intensive training sessions, competitions with peers, educational lectures and meetings with professional footballers. Alexander Shagov, Honoured Coach of Russia, Head Coach of the "Football School" project: "The 'Football School' selections in Perm took place after a two-year break, and it was important for us to run them to the highest possible standard. The stadium proved to be a very comfortable venue for the sessions. Due to the hot weather, we slightly adjusted the format of the sessions and focused on relay races across six stations. We managed to give attention to all participants and assess each individual's qualities. We very much hope that the children we select will arrive at the camp in good shape, following our recommendations." In 2026, the "Football School" project has covered eight cities where SIBUR operates: Tobolsk, Tomsk, Perm, Nizhnevartovsk, Blagoveshchensk (Republic of Bashkortostan), Svobodny, Nizhnekamsk and Nizhny Novgorod. The names of the finalists and other details about the projects will be published on the website siburcamp.ru and in the project's VK community. footballers Очень распространён в британской спортивной журналистике (BBC Sport, The Guardian, Sky Sports). Заголовок: "Young footballers from Perm receive places..." В тексте: "The winners of the Perm selection will go to the camp..."
