The educational programme was implemented as part of the "Living Symbols of SIBUR" environmental project with the support of the company's "Formula for Good Deeds" social investment programme. </p> <p> From 15 to 19 June, 40 schoolchildren from Blagoveshchensk worked on the "Protected Landmarks" programme. The goal of the educational sessions was to promote environmental education through game-based practices and field activities. Participants aged 12 to 16 were divided into teams, where each tried their hand at being a cartographer, ornithologist, botanist or ecologist. The children held real brainstorming sessions, jointly developed concepts for future quests and honed their teamwork skills. </p> <p> The programme covered various aspects of preparing future interactive activities, including surveying and preparing potential locations. As an example, participants were given a short excursion to Bolshoy Island to visit the "Visiting Agidel" eco-trail, which was built by SIBUR in 2025. For clarity, the teachers offered the children a set of the most universal approaches that could be applied in their own developments. Participants were shown how to properly use the surrounding environment, told how to build a narrative and explained why studying the epics of their native region can be not only interesting but also useful. </p> <p> The main outcome of the session was the development of original environmental quests. The participants devised interactive tasks, designed routes and prepared materials for the activities. On the final day, the teams exchanged their developed quests. The young biologists had not only to evaluate the quality of their own work but also to find out in practice how successfully everyone had achieved their goals.
