The educational initiative, which received grant support through SIBUR's "Formula for Good Deeds" social investment programme, brought together schoolchildren, teachers and experts from leading universities of Tatarstan for the practical study of modern 3D prototyping technologies and digital microscopy. <p> The ten-day programme included three thematic modules, during which participants learned the principles of three-dimensional modelling of molecular structures, studied microstructures using digital equipment and developed their own engineering projects at the intersection of chemistry and biology. The classes took place both in the renovated classrooms of the gymnasium and in the laboratories of partner institutions – Kazan State Power Engineering University, Kazan Federal University, Kazan State Agrarian University and Kazan National Research Technological University – which allowed the schoolchildren to immerse themselves in a real research environment and assess the requirements of the modern chemical industry. </p> <p> The results of the session demonstrate the project's high practical impact. 27 pupils in grades 8–10 took part in the educational modules, developing and defending 9 research projects in a team format.
