The House of Polymers in Voronezh hosted an inclusive workshop supported by the Formula for Good Deeds program as part of the Creating Together volunteering initiative, bringing together children and adults to explore the fascinating world of science and creativity. This transcended the boundaries of any regular event as the participants got to experience firsthand true immersion into the exciting world of petrochemistry.

The visitors were invited to go on a facility tour to experience what it feels like to extinguish a flare safely, get exposed to the sounds of an operating manufacturing site, and handle sample polymer products. The tour part transitioned into a creative workshop where attendees decorated baseball caps which they will be wearing on sunny days reminiscing about their time spent together.

Each child added their creative touch helping produce truly unique items. The workshop concluded with a nice surprise: all participant were provided with gifts. Such regular House of Polymers-hosted events successfully combine fostering interest in science and creativity while helping establish connections between people involved in friendly interactions and in shared creative activities.
"We were quite impressed by the accessible environment created for people with disability, as is the case with our child, and the clear explanations of complex petrochemical processes we were provided. Being able to handle materials produced at various SIBUR facilities and take part in the creative workshop made our visit even more engaging and educational. Thank you for this wonderful and inclusive initiative."
