The contest that ran throughout the entire fall season was held in seven of the cities where the company has a presence: Tobolsk, Perm, Voronezh, Blagoveshchensk, Svobodny, Nyagan, and Noyabrsk. This project turned out to be a genuine celebration of creativity and new ideas as its participants got busy making vibrant art objects out of recyclable materials, while the audiences were invited to learn about some out-of-the-box solutions for converting waste into art.

Noyabrsk's Quantorium was chosen as the venue for the contest where Evgenia Radosteva, a Perm-based designer, the creator of courses on contemporary art and ecology, and the founder of the Perepaket brand of products made from recycled materials, gave several master classes as part of the project. Under her tutelage, the contestants got busy crafting useful and beautiful things out of recycled plastic bags including key chains, notepads, posters, and classy shopping bags.
“SIBUR's social investment program The Formula for Good Deeds
that has been in place since 2016 helps convert really good ideas into truly good deeds. It is particularly gratifying to watch children discover this link between art and taking care of nature through their own creative endeavors. Noyabrsk's students not only showcased their talents, but also gave waste a second lease on life by creating striking and unorthodox art objects out of it. These were not just your usual master classes, but rather a journey into the world of modern ecology, where everyone can become a changemaker. We are confident that such initiatives foster environmental thinking and inspire people of the young generation to adopt a conscious attitude towards the world around them".

SIBUR believes that by helping unlock children's and adolescents' creative potential through initiatives such as these, we are promoting a more sustainable and environmentally conscious society. Each idea generated at the junction of creativity and ecology represents a yet another step towards a brighter future, where caring for nature becomes an integral part of everyday living.
