An awards ceremony for participants of the children's drawing competition "The Vanishing World of the Taiga" was held at School No. 7 in Nizhnevartovsk. The competition took place as part of SIBUR's "Formula for Good Deeds" social investment programme. Twelve pupils of the school received certificates and commemorative gifts – books about polymers and the benefits of plastic recycling, as well as educational chemistry game kits for learning the Periodic Table in an engaging way. </p> <p> The young artists dedicated their works to rare and endangered animals of the North that are listed in the Red Book. The schoolchildren depicted the inhabitants of the Yugra taiga in their drawings, showing the beauty and fragility of northern nature. </p> <p> The competition was part of the environmental project "Living Symbols of the Taiga".
