On 21 June, the day of the summer solstice, SIBUR employees made a volunteer visit to the municipal "Nekrasovka" shelter for stray animals in Moscow. The event took place as part of the company-wide campaign "Big Help to Little Friends", implemented with the support of SIBUR's "Formula for Good Deeds" social investment programme.
</p>
<p>
Time flew by unnoticed. This time, 15 volunteers took part in the campaign, including employees of SIBUR LLC, SIBUR Digital, SIBUR PolyLab, Neftekhimicheskaya Transportnaya Kompaniya, the "House of Polymers" Autonomous Non-Profit Organisation and their families. The team helped with walking dogs in several sections of the shelter and also handed over collected food, medicines and necessary supplies to the residents.
</p>
<p>
The summer heat was no obstacle to good deeds: the volunteers spent more than 4 hours at the shelter, surrounding the four-legged residents with care and affection. Notably, new volunteers joined the regular programme participants, for whom this visit was their first experience interacting with the residents of "Nekrasovka" and shelter animals in general. It was especially touching to see the dogs escaping the heat by happily bathing in makeshift pools – the volunteers could barely resist joining them.

<em>"It was an amazingly warm day: walking dogs, the forest, fresh air and many kind people around. Thank you to the shelter for this atmosphere of warmth, care and compassion. For the opportunity to give attention to those who so desperately need it, and for the feeling you leave with after such meetings. If you are lacking warmth or want to do something good – come. Sometimes just a 20-minute walk with a dog through the forest is enough to remind your heart how much love it holds."</em>

The "Big Help to Little Friends" campaign continues to bring SIBUR employees together around the systematic support of shelters for stray animals, remaining an important part of the "Formula for Good Deeds" social investment programme.
