In all, 700 kilograms of plastic waste had this been collected. Local resident Stepan Petrov emerged as the absolute leader having delivered 133 kilograms of plastic waste. Five of the most active participants were awarded with memorable prizes courtesy of SIBUR.</span>

And, with recent advances in state-of-the-art recycling technologies, plastics’ life cycle could become virtually infinite. Products made from recycled plastic produce a smaller environmental footprint and help conserve resources. Plastic bottles can be transformed into athletic apparel, athletic shoes, sports equipment, and even virgin food packaging materials produced with Vivilen PET pellets. Thanks to responsible handling practices, used plastics get converted into a valuable resource suitable for a broad variety of applications.</span>
