<span style="color: windowtext;">September 17 saw Tyumen hold its traditional morning <i>EcoRun</i> organized as part of the TNF industry and energy forum, made possible thanks to the support of the petrochemical company SIBUR.</span>

<span style="color: windowtext;">The race started at 6:30 on the embankment of the Tura River with one thousand participants in attendance. This turned out to be a bright sporting highlight of the forum's business program.</span>

<span style="color: windowtext;">Athletes from Moscow, St. Petersburg, Novosibirsk, Omsk, Saratov, Sverdlovsk, and Chelyabinsk Oblasts, as well as from the Perm Krai, Yamalo-Nenets and Khanty-Mansi Autonomous Okrugs, joined the race to put their endurance and character to the test. The racers’ average age stood at 33.</span>

The company helped reduce the event's environmental footprint: the contestants were provided with water in bottles made from recycled plastic, and there were waste sorting containers installed throughout the area.<br>
The collected plastic waste will be sent for further processing so that it can get converted into raw material for producing Vivilen polymer pellets, which will then be used to manufacture new eco-friendly packaging.</span>

<span style="color: windowtext;">Together with more than 30 of its partners, SIBUR is currently working on developing initiatives to facilitate transition to Vivilen products. Nationwide, this solution has already contributed to returning over 3<b> </b>billion used plastic bottles back into production.</span>
