The core part of the pre-accelerator program involves providing training to school teachers and providing them with the relevant set of teaching materials to help them implement the program at their schools going forward. Over a period of several months, the teachers that had received the training were involved in the supervision of the school students developing their tech projects.

2023

In 2023, 20 teachers from Pyt-Yakh and Noyabrsk received training following a program developed by the regional Future Tech Leaders pre-accelerator. Following the training program’s completion, 2 of the regional pre-accelerator’s programs were incorporated in the curricular activities of 6 educational institutions.

On December 21 and 22, 2023, two educational institutions - Noyabrsk’s School No. 5 and School No. 1 in Pyt-Yakh – became the venues for holding the program’s final events: experts review sessions featuring presentations of projects by school students.

The students presented the results of their work to a jury of experts that consisted of officials representing local administrations and Departments of Education of the cities of Noyabrsk and Pyt-Yakh, as well as experts from SIBUR and the Social Investment Fund. Each of the projects was assessed based on the following merits: thoroughness of competition analysis, target audiences surveyed, the quality of the project's presentation to the public, and others.

4 teams representing the two cities emerged as the winners of the regional pre-accelerator program: "From an Idea to a Model" (the Yuventa Center, Noyabrsk; supervising teacher - Oksana Serebryakova); "The Chicks" (School No. 5, Noyabrsk, supervising teacher - Elena Golovko); "DrumWall" and "SchoolHelper" (School № 5, Pyt-Yakh, Marina Komova).

In all, 126 school students took part in the program’s activities, of whom 45 went on to defend the projects they had created as part of the pre-accelerator program.
