A contest of drawings: The Vanishing World of the Taiga

February 17, the Wild Reindeer Day, was chosen as the day to launch the The Vanishing World of the Taiga drawing contest. Qualifying entries would include works or art depicting rare and endangered animal species listed in the Red Book of Khanty-Mansiysk and Yamal-Nenets Autonomous Okrugs. The contest is open to children aged 6 to 17 years studying art at art schools and art studios in six of the cities where SIBUR has a presence: Nizhnevartovsk, Nyagan, and Pyt-Yakh (KhMAO-Yugra), as well as Gubkinsky, Muravlenko, and Noyabrsk (YNAO).

All contest participants will be presented with their personalized electronic certificates. The authors of the best works of art will receive awards and special prizes. Additionally, the winners' artwork will be used for manufacturing gifts and souvenirs representing the Living Symbols of the Taiga project, as well as put on display at the project-themed mobile outreach exhibition of photographs and drawings.
