More than 95 applications have been submitted to the 10th contest of volunteering projects

SIBUR has finished accepting applications to the contest of employees' volunteering projects held as part of the Formula for Good Deeds social investment program. A total of 95 volunteering projects from 19 Russian cities have been submitted by the participants.

Applications to the contest of employees' volunteering projects were submitted by employees of 17 facilities including Amurskiy GPP, BIAXPLEN, ZapSibNeftekhim, ZapSibTransGas, Krasnoyarsk Synthetic Rubber Plant, Kazanorgsintez, Petrochemical Transportation Company, Nizhnekamskneftekhim, NIOST, NIPIGAZ, POLIEF, SIBUR, SiburTyumenGaz, SIBUR-Neftekhim, Sibur-PETF, Sibur-Chimprom, and Tomskneftekhim. In terms of the largest number of entries made, the employees of POLIEF and ZapSibNeftekhim stand out with the most filings.

These employees intend to hold contests on separate garbage collection, clean-up campaigns, sapling planting, collection of plastic caps, various master classes for children with disabilities, children undergoing long-term treatment at a hospital, children in a difficult life situation, and students attending educational organizations as well as all those who might be interested. As a separate component, the participants will organize a paralympic powerlifting tournament for people with locomotor disabilities, hip-hop classes for people with special needs, and much more.

The Contest’s Selection Committee is beginning to process and evaluate the submitted applications. The evaluation of applications will be performed by SIBUR’s staff members representing such functions as HR, Corporate Communications, Business Support in the Regions of Presence, Sustainable Development, grass-root level trade union organization, as well as experts from regional non-profit organizations and managers of the Formula for Good Deeds program.
