The "SIBUR's Living Symbols" project is a comprehensive environmental initiative of the "Formula for Good Deeds" programme, aimed at preserving the biological diversity of endangered animal species in the company's operating regions. Through scientific research, creative activities, and volunteer campaigns, the project fosters a community of people responsible for natural heritage and stimulates the younger generation's interest in rare and endangered animal species.

Our Mission is to transform environmental awareness into tangible action, using science and creativity as tools for conservation—creating a new space for education and giving impetus to the professional community, thereby laying the foundation for a sustainable ecological future.

Environmental Awareness Programme:
Thematic excursions and quests dedicated to rare and endangered animals of the Khanty-Mansi and Yamalo-Nenets Autonomous Okrugs, as well as Nizhny Novgorod Oblast, are conducted for adults and teenagers participating in the project's events.
Professional Dialogue:
The project includes expert round tables on the development of the system of specially protected natural areas (SPNAs) with the participation of representatives from nature reserves, scientists, and public organisations.
Family Nature Eco-School (Nizhnevartovsk):
An annual summer programme where participants immerse themselves in field research: conducting
route surveys, studying taiga biodiversity under the guidance of zoologists, and presenting
their own research projects.
The programme concludes with a conference where students present their scientific work
and an award ceremony for the most active participants of the session.
Scientific research, field studies, sports competitions, and theatrical performances
based on ethnic tales create a unique atmosphere, uniting children and their parents.
Drawing Competition "The Disappearing World of the Forest":
An annual creative competition for schoolchildren and students of additional education institutions, timed to coincide with World Wildlife Day. Children create illustrations dedicated to endangered species. The best works are featured on souvenir products.
