A City Open to All:
How SIBUR Creates a Space for Inclusion and Creativity

The inclusive festival "A City Open to All" is a vibrant celebratory event organised within SIBUR's "Formula for Good Deeds" programme. The project transforms the city into an accessible, comfortable, and friendly space for every resident; regardless of age or ability, everyone can find an activity to enjoy from sports competitions and creating art objects to enjoying live music.

Our Mission

Our Mission is to create a working example of an inclusive community through celebration.

Strategic Objectives:

Creating an Inclusive Environment:
Transforming public space into a place that is open and comfortable for interaction among all citizens.
Promoting Creativity as a Universal Language:
Uniting people through shared artistic, sporting, and musical creativity.
Organising a Celebration for Everyone:
Organising a large-scale event that, through a variety of activities, demonstrates the value and joy of an inclusive society.

The festival programme offers activities for a wide range of interests:

Creativity and New Experiences:

Learning the technique of creating art objects from teachers of the "Inclusion Laboratory"

A fragrance workshop

Creative masterclasses

Entertainment and Interactives:

Contests, prize draws, and interactive sessions with the host on the main stage

Performances by creative groups and artists, including inclusive ones

Sports and Active Leisure

Fencing under the guidance of a Paralympic champion

A masterclass in adaptive football

A robot sumo wrestling competition

A photo exhibition was organised at the festival venue,

with materials provided by Krasnoyarsk photographer Alexander Kupriyanov.

The photographer's model was Natalya Kaptelinina, who uses a wheelchair following a car accident. Natalya is currently a deputy of the State Duma from Krasnoyarsk and also runs the social project "Step by Step to the Dream".

SIBUR's Contribution:

Creator of a Multi-Layered Inclusive Space

The company organised the festival in such a way that it united people with different abilities and showed what a truly open and accessible city can be—a city where there is a place for everyone.

Platform for Local Talents and Initiatives

SIBUR provided a stage and a platform for a wide variety of local talents, showcasing the richness of the local cultural and social environment.

Producer of an Inclusive Celebration

The project supports the development of an inclusive society, socialisation, and the support of people with disabilities.

The "A City Open to All" festival is an embodied model of an ideal city. It is a place where everyone is valued, where creativity is accessible to all, and where the main result is not a report, but a living, genuine feeling of community and celebration that stays with the citizens for a long time.
