The Center has been providing social, medical, psychological and other types of services to children with disabilities and to their families, as well as to children experiencing difficulties with social adaptation. The Center’s staff’s work covers several different areas: they provide social support, organize wellness activities and summer vacation and leisure activities for children, provide medical services, and interact with volunteers. The center operates a children's helpline.

This year’s charity campaign for women raising special needs children took on a new format. The rehabilitation center’s staff and its 60 wards staged a festive online concert featuring artistic performances for viewing by the children’s mothers. In addition to this gift of art, all mothers received delicious, and, most importantly, healthful gift sets containing dried fruit and honey.

In 2020, the celebration was held in the form of a musical performance aptly named "Give Flowers to Ladies". The show’s target audience included female residents of Pyt-Yakh raising children with special developmental needs. They were able to enjoy a show put on for them in the auditorium of Pyt-Yakh’s rehabilitation center by the center’s wards and members of the city’s children's musical and artistic groups. A photographer was on-site throughout the party. During the cocktail reception, the attending mothers were able to spend some time together reminiscing about the events of the evening and just enjoying the party. The show’s organizers had prepared some sweet gifts for the children who came to the party together with their parents.
