The Omsk Regional Non-Profit Organization of People with Disabilities "Planeta druzei" was founded by parents, at their own expense, to help parents representing families raising children with disabilities and health limitations. The organization operates as one cohesive team and it is ready to bring together like-minded people eager to help their charges. It has been featuring training sessions, consultations, classes, seminars, interactions with highly qualified psychologists, defectologists, speech therapists, and teachers, and a large help center. The organization has published three books, and implemented more than 20 large-scale projects.

For the first time ever, Omsk held a charity event to help women raising children with grave illnesses. The Regional Non-Profit Organization for People With Disabilities "Planeta druzei" arranged a wonderful "me" day for 33 attending mothers. On this festive occasion, the ladies were able to attend a dance master class, a drawing master class, have lunch at a restaurant, and even take part in a go-kart race! At the end of the packed day all participants received gift certificates to the city’s spas, and, of course, bouquets of flowers. This little spring holiday helped the ladies shake off the pressure and get a boost of positive emotions!
