The expert panel included Alexander Shagov, Honoured Coach of Russia; Olga Shagova, physical fitness coach; Yulia Yushkevich, four-time Russian champion; Sergey Kokhan, sports scientist specialising in tactical training and senior lecturer at the National Research Nuclear University MEPhI; and Sergey Gorshkov, European Champion 2005 and goalkeeping coach. The event was hosted by Vladimir Novoseltsev, commentator for FC Oryol and PBC MBA. The winners of the selection will go to the "SIBUR Summer Camp", where they will take part in intensive training sessions, competitions with peers, educational lectures and meetings with professional footballers. The coaches accompanying the young athletes will also take part in a special professional development programme with workshops and experience exchange. "The 'Football School' is continuing its season of qualifying stages, and Svobodny is one of the cities where the project has generated great interest. This year, many young footballers responded to take part, and it is especially pleasing to see their desire not only to win but also to develop their skills. Our coaching staff shared their experience, and the participants gained valuable knowledge and practice from leading specialists. We can see that the level of training of young athletes is growing, and we are glad that the 'Football School' is helping to develop football in the regions where SIBUR operates," said Alexander Shagov, Honoured Coach of Russia and Head Coach of the "Football School" project.
In 2026, the "Football School" project covers eight cities where SIBUR operates: Blagoveshchensk (Republic of Bashkortostan), Nizhnevartovsk, Nizhnekamsk, Tomsk, Tobolsk, Svobodny, Perm and Nizhny Novgorod. Over the 10 years of the project's implementation, more than 2,500 young footballers have taken part in the qualifying rounds, with 162 of them receiving places at the SIBUR Summer Camp.
