Tomsk to host Winter Fest winter sports festival featuring Alexei Yagudin and Sergei Gimayev

On December 4-5, 2021, Tomsk’s Kristall sports arena will be hosting the annual Winter Fest winter sports festival expected to be a real treat for hockey and figure skating fans! The festival’s guests will be able to get immersed in the atmosphere of sports, try their hand at and learn something new straight from Russia’s legendary athletes. The festival’s program includes interactive master classes for children from 6 to 16 delivered by professional athletes.

This year's Figure Skating Secrets master class will be given by Alexey Yagudin, Honored Master of Sports of Russia, 2002 Olympic Champion, multiple champion of the world, Europe and Russia, a TV presenter and a participant in TV shows aired by Channel One.

Doing sports is a great way to improve oneself, Alexey Yagudin noted. It's great that nowadays this is an integral part of our everyday lives helping us to improve our health and steel our character! If not you, then who else, and if not now, then when else?

Sergey Gimayev, winner of the 2006 European Champions’ Cup, silver medalist in Russia’s 2003 Championship, bronze medal winner in 2014/2015 KHL Championship, and a pundit for Match TV and KHL TV channels, will be running the Real Hockey master class.

Winter Fest is not only a fascinating event but also an opportunity to take home great memories. All participants will be offered a chance talk to the celebrity athletes in person, take a joint photo with them and get their autographs. At the end of the festival, attendees will receive personalized certificates and photos.
