'Today's meeting is a fine tradition that unites business, NGOs and volunteers for a common cause – the development of our region. Thank you to each of you for your activity, your caring attitude and your willingness to share best practices. Our Council was created to scale up social initiatives, bring in new territories and strengthen cooperation. I am confident that together we can implement even more good projects. I wish everyone productive work, fresh ideas and inspiration! May our joint work bring even more good deeds and real change.'

Alexander Stepura, Chief Engineer of Zapsibtransgaz:

'Your presence here is the best proof that in Yugra there are people ready to change life around them for the better. NCCV meetings are important to us: it is here that important initiatives are born, partnerships are strengthened and solutions are found for the most pressing social challenges. I thank you for your activity, for your contribution to the development of volunteering and for your desire to help those in need. Let us together create even more projects that will make our region better!'

The plans for this year were presented by Elena Snezhko, Head of SIBUR's social investment programme 'Formula for Good Deeds' and Chair of the regional offices of the NCCV in Amur Oblast and KhMAO-Yugra. Key activities include: holding at least three joint socially significant campaigns under the auspices of the NCCV in Yugra, involving corporate volunteers in major city celebrations and festivals, providing advisory and methodological support, facilitating experience exchange between companies, and encouraging volunteer activists. Among the new initiatives planned for launch is a development programme with the participation of federal and regional experts in the fields of charity and corporate volunteering.

Elena Snezhko, Head of SIBUR's social investment programme 'Formula for Good Deeds', Chair of the regional offices of the NCCV in Amur Oblast and KhMAO-Yugra:

'This year, we have prepared activities for corporate volunteers in Yugra so that everyone can find a format for providing help that suits their heart and their comfort. By joining forces, together with the members of the regional NCCV we have gathered more than 60 volunteer campaigns for participation! We will also focus our efforts on launching training events for volunteers and continue to strengthen partnerships. Only together can we realise the most ambitious plans and help those in need. I wish everyone energy, new ideas and successful implementation of what you have set out to do. Forward to new good deeds!'

Taras Chikantsev, Advisor to the Director for Education and Interaction with Children's Public Organisations at the Nizhnevartovsk Social and Humanitarian College, Head of the Regional Volunteer Centre 'Abilympics', gave a report on 'Fostering a Spirit of Voluntary Service and Volunteering'. He spoke about the volunteer activities of students and invited all interested parties to join the inclusive volunteering school. During their training, students not only help but also learn to understand, support and see the potential of each participant with disabilities.

Alexander Fedyaev, representative of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of KhMAO-Yugra for the city of Nizhnevartovsk and Nizhnevartovsky District:

'Corporate volunteering is a bridge between business and people. I wish the regional office of the NCCV in Yugra to become that very centre of strength that inspires companies to do great things! May every project bring not only benefit but also joy, and may the example of the council motivate thousands of employees across the region and the whole country to do good. Bold ideas and reliable partners!'

Larisa Khrebtenko, Head of the Client Service (on the rights of a department) in the city of Surgut of the Branch of the Pension and Social Insurance Fund of the Russian Federation for KhMAO-Yugra:

'Taking part in such events allows us to fully immerse ourselves in the atmosphere of a large family of volunteers from different corners of our great country. Exchanging practices gives us an understanding of how many good deeds are being done, and brings new ideas and plans for what more can be done. In the Council, every participant is heard, every project is publicised and supported, which allows volunteers from different cities to adopt and implement a given practice or to help with its implementation. For example, after learning about our project "The Good Book", volunteers from SiburTyumenGaz gave wonderful books about polymers and eco-habits to the children at the Surgut Centre for Social Assistance to Families and Children! Having like-minded people, and being able to change the world for the better together – that is priceless.'

Irina Kiseleva, Social Worker at the Regional Public Organisation of KhMAO-Yugra 'League of Patients', 'Scarlet Sails':

'The meeting brought together caring people united by a common desire to help and to do good selflessly, sparing neither effort nor time. Thanks to this meeting, volunteers from the inclusive centre "Scarlet Sails" in the city of Nizhnevartovsk found like-minded people who wish to help and take part in our projects, including in the field of social assistance for people living in the branch of the Izluchinsky nursing home in the village of Magistral. Together, we can achieve what we could not do alone.'
