Nizhnevartovsk to host Clean Games eco-fest on June 4

27 may 2022

Nizhnevartovsk will be hosting Clean Games eco-festival 4 between 11 am and 3 pm on June.

Clean Games is an environmental education project enabling its participants to contribute to the cause of environmental protection and to learn the basics of separate waste collection. The project follows a game-based learning methodology. The game takes 2 to 3 hours to complete. Each team will be separately collecting the following categories of waste: glass, plastics, metals, and mixed waste. Points that are given to the teams for each collected bag of waste are entered into a table. The points are then added up to determine the winning team.

The aim of the game is not only to perform separate waste collection but also to raise the public’s environmental awareness, especially among children and youths.

Participation in the game is open to teams made up of 3 to 4 players each! One can take part in the game together with one’s friends, family, or colleagues. Participation is free, but pre-registration will required at this
