<b><span style="color: #575757;">SIBUR has selected the winners of the </span></b><b><i><u><span style="color: #3c9091;">Communities Changing the World</span></u></i></b><b><span style="color: #575757;"> grant contest of corporate volunteering projects in Amur Oblast. Thanks to grant support from SIBUR’s <i>Formula for Good Deeds</i>
social investment program, 2025 will see members of Amur Oblast’s chapter of the National Corporate Volunteering Council (</span></b><a href="https://www.formula-hd.ru/nskvAO/"><b><span style="color: #3c9091;">NCVC</span></b></a><b><span style="color: #575757;">) implement 11 volunteering projects in Belogorsk, Blagoveshchensk, Svobodny, the urban settlement of Magdagachi, and the village of Tambovka. </span></b>

<span style="color: #575757;">A total of 22 applications from four of Amur Oblast’s municipalities - Belogorsk, Blagoveshchensk, Svobodny, and Shimanovsk – were received and </span><a href="https://www.formula-hd.ru/news/soobshchestva-menyayushchie-mir-eksperty-sibura-pristupili-k-otsenke-zayavok-posvyashchennykh-korpor/">reviewed</a><span style="color: #575757;"> by the contest’s committee. Most submissions came from corporate volunteers in Svobodny (12 entries in all). The greatest number of proposed activities fell into the category of <i>Author-Led Projects</i> (45%).</span>

<span style="color: #575757;">The winners of the selection will hold a series of environmental initiatives including clean-up events in natural and urban areas, greening and landscaping campaigns for key community spaces, educational lectures/games on waste sorting, and projects aiming to aid birds and stray animals. Children, seniors, and people with disabilities will be the beneficiaries of creative and educational workshops, including financial literacy classes, that will be organized for them by the corporate volunteers. As a tribute to the memory of Valery Melnikov, Amur Oblast’s renowned ice artist, the activists will also create a pre-New Year postcard on ice.</span>
