SIBUR Employees Help Fulfill New Year’s Wishes of More Than 2,600 Children

The participants of this annual campaign helped fulfill the wishes of the charges of social welfare institutions by bringing them gifts and organizing festive celebrations and creative sessions. In total, more than 2,600 children received New Year's gifts throughout the campaign’s duration.

A significant focus of the campaign has been on providing continuous support to the company’s regional social partners. For example, in keeping with a longstanding and kind tradition, employees of Novye Resursy in Krasnodar helped the City Administration's Department for Family and Children Affairs fulfill the New Year's wishes of children facing adversity in their lives. Each child had written a letter to Father Christmas, and the company's employees took on the role of magicians, helping make the children's dreams come true.

In Nizhnekamsk, Nizhnekamskneftekhim’s volunteers met with 50 children in person to learn about their most coveted dreams and wishes. As always, the wishes written on post cards were placed on a New Year's tree, so that employees could select one of the cards and fulfill the children's requests. As before, there was an additional campaign to collect food items and raise money to set up the New Year's feast for the children of the Nizhnekamsk orphanage. The children then cooked their dishes for the feast by shaping and freezing dumplings, making salads, to celebrate the New Year in a home-style manner.

Employees of the Krasnoyarsk Synthetic Rubber Plant took part in preparing and holding New Year's matinees for 330 wards of the region’s Podsolnukh Psychoneurological Children's Home. The children were treated to sweet gifts, board games, puzzles, coloring books, and toys, and a creative master class on tote bag painting.

In addition, SIBUR’s volunteers organized New Year's theatrical performances for children in difficult situation living in Blagoveshchensk (Republic of Bashkortostan), Perm, Surgut, Tver, and Tomsk.
