SIBUR is creating the future: three of the company's projects have become the winners of the Contest of the Best Employers’ Practices

As many as three of SIBUR's projects have won top prizes at Creating the Future, the 9th All-Russian Contest of Employers' Best Practices in the Social and Humanitarian Sphere. The company's initiatives for promoting corporate volunteering and sports in the regions where it has a presence won top prizes in their respective categories. "Tobolsk of the Present: The Social and Infrastructural Development Program" was the contest’s only project that received the jury’s Grand Prix.

"Tobolsk of the Present: The Social and Infrastructural Development Program" received an award in the Habitat (Best Ecosystem Project) category. The jury commended its contribution to comprehensive regional development efforts and to the improvement of the quality of life for local residents.

The People Changing the World corporate volunteering program became the winner in the Community of Communities category that included projects that help create an environment for active engagement of internal corporate communities as well as projects that contribute to the development of employees' social life.

Basketball School emerged as the winner in the High Start category. The project was recognized for its contribution to systematic and long-term development of children's and youth-level mass basketball in the regions of SIBUR's operations.

We are thankful to the experts and member of the award’s jury for their recognition of our initiatives. SIBUR's social projects make a valuable contribution to various social causes and help advance the overall objective of the company's social investments which is to effect positive transformations in the cities where SIBUR operates. It is an integrated result of the joint efforts of the company, our partners and local residents, Elena Snezhko, Head of SIBUR's social investment program the Formula for Good Deeds, commented.

The Creating the Future contest is run by the MAKO Association of Citizens and Organizations for the Promotion of Corporate Education with the support of the Civic Chamber of the Russian Federation. In 2022, the contest was held for the ninth time and ended up receiving over 100 applications from the largest Russian companies and organizations. The selection round included projects dealing with the issues of regional development, career guidance for schoolchildren, leadership development among employees, digital transformation, cooperation synergy, and building professional and local communities.
