SIBUR has started accepting entries for contests implemented under the Formula for Good Deeds social investment program
23 august 2022
SIBUR has announced the launch of its grant and interregional project contests implemented as part of the Formula for Good Deeds social investment program. Applications will be accepted from August 23 to October 16. In order to apply one will need to register in a personal account space on the program’s website.
The grant contest seeks to support socially relevant projects in 16 cities where the company operates with a focus on 7 areas: "Culture", "Education and Science", "Sports", "Volunteering", "Urban Development", "Environmental Protection", and "Inclusivity". The last focus area is a novelty introduced in 2022: SIBUR has adopted its Diversity and Inclusivity Policy as part of its overall sustainability strategy. From now on, support of relevant projects in the regions of the company's presence will be used as one of the tools for implementing this policy.
The contest's geography has expanded as well, with Kazan joining the list of participating cities.
The grant contest is open to state-funded institutions and non-profit organizations alike. It would be an additional advantage if the project submitted to the contest is in compliance with the principles of inclusivity and eco-friendliness, whose descriptions can be found on the program's website.
The contest of interregional projects is open to non-profits, social institutions and commercial companies with experience in the social sector who intend to implement their projects in two or more regions of the company's presence.
Year after year, the program has been demonstrating its social effectiveness and productivity. It has helped forge active urban communities and assist our contest participants with improving their skills in drafting contest applications and in raising funds from a variety of sources. The projects that are carried out by our grantees help solve problems of local resident and contribute to raising living standards. We are always eager to support helpful initiatives and hope to see both our regular participants and newcomers among this year's entrants, Elena Snezhko, head of the Formula for Good Deeds program, noted.
As always, the contests’ winners will be selected by a jury made up of SIBUR’s representatives and members of the social sector’s professional community.
Up-to-date terms and rules of the contests can be found on the program’s website. If you have any questions, please refer to our coordinators via email: for the grant contest at grant@formula-hd.ru, and for the interregional projects contest at project@formula-hd.ru.
You will also be able to ask questions to our coordinators during the upcoming webinar on "Fundamentals of Social Design" scheduled for September 22, that will be useful both for experienced participants and for newcomers. To register for the webinar, please send your request to info@formula-hd.ru.
