POLYEF hosted a ceremony in honor of the winners the 8th grant contest

Blagoveshchensk, Bashkortostan, hosted an awards ceremony to honor the winners of the Formula for Good Deeds’ grant contest. Those in attendance were awarded winners’ certificates and offered words of encouragement, gratitude, and support.

During the awards ceremony the management of the company noted the importance of all entries submitted to the contest and praised all those "who care" noting that they are willing to become invested in transforming their city, to help conserve the environment, to nurture a culture of sport, to improve the quality of life of senior citizens, provide career guidance to schoolchildren, to improve security, and to develop domestic travel.

The Formula for Good Deeds program is very important for us. It is great that SIBUR has been contributing to forging a strong urban community. The group of people who care about turning Blagoveshchensk into a better place with the help of the grant contest’s support is continuously growing. We see newcomers joining us with their very exciting projects all the time. This is an indication that this cause is really important for the residents of the city and we will continue pursuing it going forward, Pavel Romanenko, General Director of POLYEF, noted.

I am very happy that the number of winning projects keeps growing every year. There were nine of them taking part in this year’s contest. We are not particularly keen on increasing the quantity for quantity’s own sake. But it is nevertheless great that there is a growing group of people who are eager to work with us to change Blagoveshchensk for the better. We wish the contest’s winners the best of luck in implementing their projects and a lot of success in the future! •        SIBUR for Children. Continued, a regional mini-basketball festival, by Blagoveshchensk District’s Children's and Youth Sports School

•        Utro, an Inclusive Adaptive Tourism Club, by All-Russian Society of the Disabled

•        Security Experts, by the Republic of Bashkortostan’s Center for Searching for Missing People, a non-profit

•        Walks with an audio guide, tours of the museum and around the city, by Blagoveshchensk Museum of Local History

•        Learning Life, Together, by the Together Charity

•        The Active Age, by Blagoveshchensk District’s Organization of Veterans of War, Labor, Armed Forces, and Law Enforcement

•        Pocket Park SIBUR-ECO: Ecology of Comfortable Communication, by Blago Centre for Social Services

•        A Meteorological station at a kindergarten, by Kindergarten 12 Ryabinka
