Nizhnevartovsk Hosted Kick-Off Session of the Growth Formula, a Business Accelerator Program

Nizhnevartovsk hosted a kick-off session of an accelerator program for social entrepreneurs implemented by the Our Future Foundation in cooperation with SIBUR.
The event was attended by more than 20 entrepreneurs from Tobolsk, Gubkinsky, Dzerzhinsk, Muravlenko, Nizhnevartovsk, Noyabrsk, Nyagan, and Pyt-Yakh.
In the course of this introductory session, its participants and experts learned about new approaches to developing their business and packaging a value proposition, to product and service testing, and to calculating a project's economics.
The event was as useful as they come. I am already trying to put to practice the theory that I learned during the introductory session. For example, as part of my project titled "The Knowledge Workshop", I have already started to make use of the sales funnel methodology for different target groups, and I have automated the work of the project’s administrator", noted Anna Gladkova, a Nizhnevartovsk entrepreneur.
The Growth Formula program has been successful in putting together a strong team of experts. They include:
- Pavel Mikhailov, a seasoned businessman, CEO of cloudgroup.pro, a tech startup launch studio, a tracker for IIDF, Beeline, MBM, Growth Formula, X5, Megafon, and other companies;
- Evgeny Tsarkov, a businessman and a product expert with experience in supporting over 300 projects for RZD, the Ural Bank for Reconstruction and Development, VTB, Beeline, Moscow’s Department of Entrepreneurship and Innovative Development, etc.;
- Daria Pashko (Novosibirsk), program manager at Garage, a Student Business Incubator (NSTU), a product expert with the Charisma business proficiency center, an expert with IT-Contract, and a former representative of IIDF in Novosibirsk.
The event’s participants were able to try their newly acquired knowledge in the course of a business game. The intensive game session was conducted in the form of live networking.
Going forward, the program’s participants will be spending additional three months refining their projects by working both on their own and in groups with the support of the program’s experts.
The accelerator program was developed through a partnership between the Foundation for Regional Social Programs "Our Future" and SIBUR as part of the "Formula for Good Deeds" social investment program. The program aims to provide support to active social entrepreneurs.
The program's goal is to promote fast and quality business growth, create new jobs, and scale up the social impact of businesses’ activities.
It is worth adding that the Growth Formula program has been successfully implemented in 2018 in Kaliningrad Oblast, and then in 2019 in Nizhegorodskaya Oblast, and in 2020 in Astrakhan Oblast and in Khanty-Mansi Autonomous Okrug-Yugra.
