<span style="color: #575757;">Amur Oblast’s regional chapter of the NCVC held its first 2025 meeting in Svobodny where leaders of the region’s volunteering programs presented their plans of activities for this year together with active members of local volunteering organizations.</span>

<span style="color: #575757;">The meeting was attended by representatives of volunteering communities from 17 different organizations representing Belogorsk, Blagoveshchensk, Svobodny and Shimanovsk, including the Amur Gas Chemical Complex, the Amur Institute of Railway Transport, Gazprombank, Gazpromtrans, NIPIGAZ, Sberbank, Svobodny’s Gazprom Transgaz Tomsk’s Line Management Department in charge of operating Main Gas Pipelines, Amur Oblast’s Branch of the Social Fund of Russia, Russian Post, Russian Railways, representatives of the non-profit sector, managers, and activists of public and volunteering organizations.</span>

<span style="color: #575757;">The Council will continue implementing its key projects this year. On July 12, Svobodny will be hosting the 3rd Forum of Corporate Volunteers of Amur Oblast. Its activists will continue providing support for elderly residents of Svobodny’s <i>Lada</i> Comprehensive Social Service Centers and helping stray animals cared for by the <i>Do Good </i>non-profit animal protection organization, participating in citywide separate waste collection eco-campaigns and in volunteering clean-up activities, recruiting corporate volunteers to support major citywide celebrations and festivals. In keeping with the well-established tradition, the volunteering season will culminate in the<i>
Miracles on Ice</i>, a festival of ice postcards organized by <i>The Amurskaya Pravda</i> newspaper in commemoration of the lonely ice artist Valery Melnikov.</span>
