More than 250 people participated in training webinars on corporate volunteering

On November 23, the final webinar held within the framework of the educational program on corporate volunteering took place. This time the session focused on the topic of intellectual assistance.

The online broadcast was joined by employees of 12 facilities including Amur GPP, BIAXPLEN, ZapSibNeftekhim, Krasnoyarsk Synthetic Rubber Plant, Petrochemical Transportation Company, Nizhnekamskneftekhim, NIPIGAZ, POLIEF, SIBUR, Sibur-Kstovo, Sibur-Neftekhim, and Tomskneftekhim.

Experts with the Formula for Good Deeds social investment program introduced the attendees to the principles of pro bono volunteering, discussed the various types of tasks and requirements for intellectual volunteers. In addition, the speakers presented various pro bono practices implemented at SIBUR by its employees in different regions of the company’s presence.

The students also got acquainted with the various platforms available in the field of intellectual volunteering including ProCharity, Todogood, IT-volunteer, Paseka, and Pro-Bono Russia.

This series of training events dedicated to various aspects of volunteering was conducted throughout 2022. The speakers’ lineup included experts from the Old Age Can Be a Joy Charity Foundation, Formula for Good Deeds program’s ambassadors, and SIBUR corporate volunteers from Tobolsk and Blagoveshchensk (Republic of Bashkortostan).

A total of 10 webinars have been held, attended by 200 SIBUR Group’s employees and 50 people from the various cities of the company's presence who wished to participate.
