<span style="color: #575757; background: white;">Tobolsk’s Center for Youth Initiatives took stock of the results of the environmental contest titled "We are friends with nature, we are waste averse” organized with the support of SIBUR’s <i>Formula for Good Deeds</i>
social investment program, and rewarded the competition’s winners. The contest’s aim was to draw attention of students and their parents to the problem of household waste polluting the environment, while promoting environmental awareness and offering contestants an opportunity to demonstrate their projects and their creative potential for addressing pressing environmental challenges.</span><span style="color: #575757;"><br>

<span style="background: white;">The contest drew students from Tobolsk and Nizhnekamsk schools who were asked to make a drawing on the subject of "Let's Protect Mother Nature Together", produce a bulletin board-style leaflet, shoot a short video about their families’ eco-habits, write an essay on the topic of taking care of the wildlife in their region, and present their experience and initiatives in the field of conservation.</span><br>

<i><span style="background: white;">"The problem of environmental pollution is very relevant in this time and age. Many beautiful parts of our nature are being turned into landfills for dumping garbage and waste. That’s why environmental conservation is so important, and this is also why, from an early age, children should be taught to protect and preserve our environment for future generations!"</span></i><br>

<span style="background: white;">A total of 270 applications were submitted to the contest, of which 150 were turned in by Tobolsk school students, including those with health limitations. The majority of the contestants chose to try their hand at making posters and eco-themed drawings, showcasing their creativity and imagination. Their entries were evaluated by Nizhnekamsk’s experts who paid attention to such aspects as the eco-idea’s relevance and practical value, as well as the entry’s expressiveness, originality, and the contestant's personal perspective on the topic in question. The best of the entrants were rewarded with prizes and memorable gifts, while their mentors received letters of commendation.</span><br>
