More than 1,400 SIBUR employees got to be Santa Clauses and make children's New Year’s wishes come true

In advance of the arrival of the Year 2023, SIBUR took stock of the results of its annual charity "Get to be a Santa Claus!” The campaign was carried with the support of the Formula for Good Deeds, SIBUR’s social investment program. A total of 1,419 employees from SIBUR and NIPIGAZ offices and facilities joined the kind initiative to help fulfill the New Year’s wishes of people who find themselves in a difficult situation.
Throughout the month of December, these employees got to act as SIBUR’s Santa Clauses by fulfilling children's coveted wishes and collecting children's books. The New Year’s presents are going to be delivered to their recipients by the end of 2022. As for families with children living in remote and hard to reach areas, they will be getting their gifts before 2023 Orthodox Christmas.
Collection of New Year's gifts for children was arranged at 21 enterprises, including at Amur GPP, BIAXPLEN, Voronezhsintezkauchuk, ZapSibNeftekhim, ZapSibTransGas, Kazanorgsintez, Krasnoyarsk Synthetic Rubber Plant, Petrochemical Transportation Company, Nizhnekamskneftekhim, NIOST, NIPIGAZ, POLYEF, RusVinyl, SIBUR, SIBUR RT, SIBUR-Kstovo, SIBUR-Neftekhim, Sibur-PETF, Sibur- Khimprom, SiburTyumenGaz, and Tomskneftekhim. At some of these enterprises, the campaign was made possible thanks to active involvement of their grassroot-level trade union organizations.
On December 27, gifts collected by the company’s employees in Moscow and Tver were handed over to the Tver Foundation and to Vibiraem Zhizn (Choosing Life). SIBUR-PETF's team of volunteers put on a festive performance for children that included games, dances, poetry reciting, round dances, flash mobs, trivia games, and gift-giving. The role of the Santa Claus was performed by the company’s General Director Alexey Anishchenko, while the roles of his assistants were played by other employees of the company.

On top of that, employees of the company were encouraged to donate children's books. The collection of books was organized at 5 enterprises including Krasnoyarsk Synthetic Rubber Plant, Petrochemical Transportation Company, Nizhnekamskneftekhim, NIPIGAZ, POLYEF, and SIBUR. Thanks to their joint efforts, they managed to collect 330 contemporary children's books in excellent condition. All collected books will be given to partner funds of the Formula for Good Deeds program in the regions where SIBUR operates.
